I have installed Joomla 1.5.9 and Phoca Gallery on one.com web hotel.
Both Joomla and Phoca installed without errors and what I can see all tables are created in database.
But I can not create categories, nothing happens and no error message !?
I deleted all Phoca components and modules and reinstalled just phoca galler component but still same problem. Feels like rights problem but /images/phocagallery is created and I can create folder via multiple add.
When I try to create a caterogy the url stop responding, I can not cancel so I have to change URL in the address-field to get back to joomla.
If I check Phoca - Info everything is green!

Have I missed something ?

Could someone please help me with this !

Hi,

if you use a standard template like rhuk_milkyway you can see the system messages.

I am using that template at site and Khepri as administration.

Should it be rhuk_milkyway as admin also ?

Phoca template is default..

Hi,

I'm sorry, I was mistaken: the system message problem is only on the frontend. In the backend Khepri must display them.

If all tables are created (and all fields) then Phoca shouldn't have any problem saving categories. If it still doesn't work, then I don't know what the problem is.

Hi, as Phoca Extensions are Joomla! extensions, there should be the same rules for Phoca Extensions as for Joomla! (In Joomla! safe mode off is recommended). Phoca has no additional requirements, so server settings should be the same as for Joomla!
