is there a way to limit the Gallery Categories detail view to be limited to 10 categories and have a next button to view the next or a pagination.

any help please,

Hi, for categories view, there is no pagination, but you can create some categories structure, which will have e.g. subcategories, so only parent categories will be displayed...

I am trying to show only parent categories in the "root" is it possible?

I have galleries listed like this:

-Cat>subcat
-Cat2>subcat
-Cat2>subcat2
-Cat2>subcat3, etc

and would like to view only the parents:
-Cat
-Cat2

can you help me? i cant seem to find a way to do that..

in the parameters you can set: 'hide subcategories' - then only parent categories will be displayed

I could swear that i try that and the gallery homepage got blank..

Hi,

there is also a setting which sets to hide/display empty categories. Those must be displayed if you only want to display the parent categories ('cause usually they are empty)
