Hi,
If you enable automatic thumbnails creation now (after you added the images) and then you can manually create the thumbs by pressing the 'recreate thumbnail' button.
Other option (only if your pagination isn't set to 'all'): turn 'pagination thumbnails creation' on. Then Phoca Gallery creates only the thumbnails of the page you're viewing in the images tab.
