jak+lightbox problems

Hello!

I realize I don't thank enough you phoca stuff for all your efort, so first of all let me thank you!

second, here's my problem: I want to use JAK to display images on both gallery and plugin, but

1) I see if i set jak as default detail AND as detail=6 in the plugin, then in the plugin it displays as image in a new window...so i have to use boxplus as default as my main image display is in articles using plugins. but no big matter about this

2) i obtain the shadow background only for the first part of the page, while below it is as normal...that's a shame! I followed your advice and using web development tollbar and a standar template i saw the problem is a partcular css of my template, that if i exclude all is working normally. I'm not as good as i would on css to find the problem..... so there's the code:

Code: Select all

/* `XHTML, HTML4, HTML5 Reset
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------*/

a,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,dialog,div,dl,dt,em,embed,
fieldset,figcaption,figure,font,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,hr,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,meter,nav,object,
ol,output,p,pre,progress,q,rp,rt,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot, th, thead, time, tr, tt, u, ul,
var, video, xmp {
  border: 0;
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  font-size: 100%;
}

html,
body {
  height: 100%;
}

article,
aside,
details,
figcaption,
figure,
footer,
header,
hgroup,
menu,
nav,
section {

  display: block;
}

b,
strong {

  font-weight: bold;
}

img {
  color: transparent;
  font-size: 0;
  vertical-align: middle;

  -ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic;
}

ol,
ul {
  list-style: none;
}

li {

  display: list-item;
}

table {
  border-collapse: collapse;
  border-spacing: 0;
}

th,
td,
caption {
  font-weight: normal;
  vertical-align: top;
  text-align: left;
}

q {
  quotes: none;
}

q:before,
q:after {
  content: '';
  content: none;
}

sub,
sup,
small {
  font-size: 75%;
}

sub,
sup {
  line-height: 0;
  position: relative;
  vertical-align: baseline;
}

sub {
  bottom: -0.25em;
}

sup {
  top: -0.5em;
}

svg {
/*
  For IE9. Without, occasionally draws shapes
  outside the boundaries of <svg> rectangle.
*/
  overflow: hidden;
}
I found the lines you say should be the problem:

vertical-align: baseline;
vertical-align: top;
vertical-align: middle;

but excluding them form the code I'm still not solving the problem.

Could anyone please help?

Thank you very much!

Hi, can you paste a screenshot what you exactly mean with the background?

I am not developer of JAK, so maybe the code is obsolete there :idea:

Hello!

sorry my english was orrible!
[image removed]

as you can see in the upper part of the page there is a backgroud "shadow" while below there's no trasparency effect.

I found this trouble being active only for JAK and my actual template. If i select a standard template OR another detail view this does not happen.

I found that disabling the above quoted css of my template this problem also disappears. So i believe the problem is there, but i can't undersatnd where.

can anyone help?

Hi, as you wrote, the problem is in conflict between JAK and your template css, the place needs to be found (e.g. with help of firebug in firefox or web developer) and somehow changed :idea:

ok thank you

i tryed to exclude piece by piece of code.

now i found the problem to be:

html, body {height:100%}

if i use
html {height:100%}

or
body {height:100%}

no problem, when they are togheter yes.

could you tell me, if you know, what JAK is calling being in conflict with this?

Hi, I don't know the inside code of JAK but ordinarily setting height for the page can be problematic. The code in JAK (javascript or CSS), I think somehow tries to compute the height of the site to fill the background so there can be a problem.

Try to see the CSS or javascript:
components\com_phocagallery\assets\jak\

at the end I think i'll try to optimize boxplus.
however I decided to mantain in css

html {height:100%}

it works well.

thank you again!
