I would like to change the list of category.
I don't like the word close to image.



I would like to add a strip (o something else) below the thumb..... like this

these are the files to change:

components\com_phocagallery\assets\phocagallery.css
components\com_phocagallery\views\categories\tmpl\default.php

I like what you are trying to do. It looks nice. Would you be kind enough to let me know how you came up with that thumbnail in your post? I looked that the tutorial but couldn't quite follow it. I am pretty much noob as far as creating image background as indicated in tutorial.

thanks but this guide is useful to risize the thumbnail only...
I would like to move the word of the category from the right to below the thumb

Hi Walter,

Jan told you the files you need to edit. This is custom appearance, so I think you should get a local server and grap all the knowledge you have of PHP and CSS and try to create the view you want. Or you could pay someone to create such a view.
