Hi,
for a few days i'm looking for some 'manual'/post that explains how to make the connection between these two components.
So for no luck.
In the galeries, in each image i create a virtuemart ID, but how to connect to virtuemart? What needs to be done for them to work together?
Best regards (and sorry if there is a similar topic, but i couldn't find it)

Yes, i saw that.
I install Phoca Gallery component, then i create categories, then inserted photos and which one of them i create a virtuemart ID. I turn ON the Virtuemart link in the parameters and in the menu link used Global, but i don't see the link in the gallery.
If you like to see click
here.
Later on, i install virtuemart component.
Now i don't know how to connect the components...

Hi, if the Id of VM product exists and if the VM link is enabled in parameters (parameters component in menu link to gallery) then the icon should be displayed.

To phoca gallery the VirtueMart ID of the product is the SKU? or is something else?
The icon is only showed in each image that has it's own ID?

I'm struggling with this too. Maybe it doesn't do what I was expecting?
You need to view your Product List and see the Id on the far right - that's the id to give to Phoca.
Then when I publish the Phoca Category, this results in a little shopping cart icon being shown beneath the image I have linked to VM when I display the category. If I click on the image, it takes me to my product.
But it doesn't mean that the product now has the image from Phoca Gallery, which is what I thought would happen.
And there is nothing on the zoom view of the image to indicate that you could add it to a cart. Now that would be great!

I already understood this.
The problem is that it doesn't work how i would like to.
After creating a product in virtuemart, it gives a ID # and that's the number we have to put in phoca gallery :S
Since i create the gallery first and give a ID to later on put in virtuemart (SKU), it was work for nothing.
So now what i do is: make the product in virtuemart, then go to phpmyadmin change the ID to the number that i want and then put in the photo of phoca gallery.

?
Just go to Phoca Gallery - Images - edit the image and paste there the ID of VirtueMart product... ans save the modifications

I got a similar problem. I know how to connect a Phoca Gallery image with a Virtuemart product... but... when I do that, a little shopping basket appears under the image in the gallery and when I click on that shopping basket it takes me to the product description page of the product and then I have to click "ADD TO CART" to add the product to the cart and then go back again to the gallery and repeat that a few times if I want to buy more products.
What I need is, when someone clicks on the shopping basket under the image in Phoca Gallery, I want the linked product to be automatically added to Virtuemarts shopping cart. Basically I want to sell photographs.
Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this? I would be very thankful.
Regards,
