Hi, first of all congratulations for your great job !!
I'm new to Phoca, all i need is to show only one thumbnail, but the gallery should have all the images of one category. Is this possible? How can i obtain this?

yes, tis possible with the Limit Start & Limit Count Parameters.

But i have a problem: if i set limitstart =0, limitcount=1 i have only 1thumbnail and 1 zoom, if i set limitstart =0, limitcount=7 i have all the thumbnails and all the zooms and i want 1 thumbnail and 8 zooms.
This is my code
{phocagallery view=category|categoryid=1|limitstart=7|limitcount=8|detail=3|displaybuttons=1}
how should i set Limit Start & Limit Count Parameters?

Set e.g. limitstart=0, limitcount=1 and use e.g. Modal Box for Detail View. Then you can use the navigation buttons to navigate to the next detail images.
