On a normal category I can set a certain image to order nr. 1 and make it the image/icon that appears for that category.
When I do this for a specific category linked to a facebook album this doesn't work and a folder icon or another facebook image appears instead of the specific image I manually added to the category at position nr. 1.

How can I change the category image for facebook albums?

com_phocagallery_v3.2.8

It's the same for Google+ / Picasa categories. Setting an image as icon for the category works until you import Facebook or Google Plus photo's.
When you do that a missing image icon appears instead:

It looks like a bug.

Nobody else configures their albums like this?

Hi, which ordering did you set for the "display image instead of folder icon"?

Having the default settings, see no problem with displaying Google+, Picasa or Facebook image as category image

All the photos from my album "cars" come from facebook or google, then I add an extra image file manually to that category and set its order to first and not published...

set it as published - does it work?
set it as unauthorized - does it work?
