Hello,

i moved my site from joomla 1.5 to 3.( i used for phocamigration a tutorial for j1.5-j2)
In order to migrate phoca gallery i madfe a fresh installation and copied with phpmyadmin 2 old phocatable- pictures and categories - from 1.5 to my new db, deletet the 2 new tables and renamed prefix for the importet to the correct ones. All categories showed up in new installation and all pictures where rebuild, the gallery worked BUT: the picturelist in backend is empty, even if uploading new pictures it stays empty.

Hi, try to enable debug mode in Joomla! global configuration and php error reporting, maybe you will get some error message there which tells more about the problem

found particulary solution: i only import phocacategories, not phocapictures from db, then go joomlabackend to phoca -images -multiple adds and choose all categories, after that all images appears in list after thumbcreationprocess. strangely some categories lost their imagefolders, i put them back manually -were not much.

Ok (really no idea what can cause such problems )
