Is there a way for a user to login to the frontend and download all items in a category? They can download each item individually but the goal was to have them download them all.

Hi, for now there is no such option, it is in feature request list but it must be reviewed - there can be a security problem (zipping all files in category plus downloading can cause memory problems on the server )
