photo is not visible

Hello, my name is Peter writing from Pordenone, From some time phocagallery not loaded it with photos of the site, other times it's ok. Today I tried to upload photos following the usual way, I can load them but not see them. I thought it was a problem updating the component, I ran update to version 2.8.1 I have joomla 1.5. I've tried everything but nothing I can not see images on the site. Can you help me understand the problem? Thank you.
