I have long category names: i.e. "2007-12-12 Clubkampioenschappen"
It now shows as: "2007-12-12..."
Is there a possibility to show full category name?

parameters component:
- Number of Characters in Name
- Font Size of Name

That's what I changed, but no effect on frontend.
You can check on URL

You must change it in menu link (parameters component) because the menu link parameters component override the default settings in component...

I have the same issue. I tried to understand what you are saying, but I have absolutely no clue about what "menu link" nor "parameters component' means in that context?
It refers to which screen?

This are settings for an obsolete Phoca Gallery version. (Joomla! v 1.5)

If you want to show more characters in Category View go to:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Category View --> Category View Settings --> Number Of Characters In Name=(Enlarge this Value)

For Categories View go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Categories View --> Categories View Settings --> Number Of Characters In Name (Category Name)=(Enlarge this Value)
