is it planned / possible to rate or comment the pictures individually - would be great to have that posibility - and even better if it could be set to be viewed by registered useres only.

We want to drive critics within our group without having anybody seeing it (and have wrong conclusions)

actually, particular images rating option is much more important than category rating, especially needed in community building. It's great funcionality to rate and comment the images within a category to show the best picture. That is the reason that I gave up with installing Phoca Gallery. If you want increase your income throuh donation you should make this feature as soon as possible. Than you will rules on gallery market. Good luck!

This feature is planned but it is planned as hundreds of features in Phoca Development, the problem is my time, there are so many great ideas (as yours with commenting and rating the images) but I cannot find time for it... I must earn some money for my family and for donating these sites too...

I got many promises about donation - if I add subcategory behaviour, If I add frontend upload, If I add user permissons, etc... nothing happens after doing these changes ...

But there are some users which don't do promises but really help... and I very appreciate this help (answer topics, making translations, helping with manuals, rating phoca extensions, donations)... Because of them I still have power to run these sites...

I see, please send me your price for developping this feature. I would like to have it like it follows: checkbox in the left bottom corner of image thumbnail, then I make rating/comment (instead of category rating/comment).

Hi, it is great, but this is a lot of work because a lot of framework must be overwritten - new tables for commenting and rating images, and solution where to paste the rating must be done - view, upgrade script, parameters, rights, the whole overwriting of backend - category rating, category description, image rating, image description, etc ... I do these changes step by step, and never know when I finish them (because it still depend on time I find in the day, e.g. last 3 month I find time only to answer all the topics in the forum and all the emails questions )... so there is no price becasue there is no specifed time how long I will do this feature

yes, there are plans but not enough time

i would donate 20euro for that feature. so it's atleast 120 atm. cmon people we need some motivation for Jan

I have some issues which I don't know how to solve...

1) Where to display form and comments for specific image?

2) Rating image. Stars can be displayed below the thumbnail. there can be two ways:

a) if user click on stars (below the thumbnails in category view), the detail window will be opened and ther you can rate the image (only registered can rate), but if you rate in detail window and rating will be changed and you close the window, the rating will be not changed below the thumbnail, because the site is not refreshed (only what was refreshed was the detail window)

b) user can vote below the thumbnail (category view), but then there will be no information e.g. about "user needs to be logged in" like in detail window and if you rate small thumbnail, this is not good solution, you should rate if you see the large thumbnail (in detail view)

These conflicts must be solved before I can add these features. Using popup (modal, ...) brings advantages (e.g. not destroyed design by large thumbnail) but there are some issues which can do some problems
