Hi, i have a problem when i want to upload files to a folder outside the public_html.

Phoca Component is installed and works, except the upload from the frontend.

i am able to download the files from the frontend (uploaded these files with ftp)

i enabled ftp in joomla settings. the user has access to my root server folder. when trying to upload files from the frontend, i get the following error:
JFTP: :mkdir: Bad response
JFTP: :chmod: Bad response
JFTP: :store: Bad response
Warnung! - Die Datei kann nicht verschoben werden! (Cannot move the file!)
i checked the ftp user account and the rights with my isp of the server. everything should be fine.

can someone help with this? it drives me crazy. thanks very much for any answer

simon

Hi, there are no permissions to write something outside the public_hml, there you can only work e.g. with ftp not with Joomla!
