Conflict with JCK Editor Manager

Hi.

Am running Joomla 1.7 and Phoca Gallery 3.0.0 ( I can't run the latest version of Phoca Gallery owing to apparent bug viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14503&start=30)

I installed JCK editor Manager and I get in the admin interface for JCK "Error: Fatal error: Class 'JSite' not found in /.../plugins/content/phocagallery/phocagallery.php on line 55"

which is $menu = &JSite::getMenu();

I posted this to JCK and I got this response (BTW there was another post on JCK Forum earlier than mine with the same problem)

"on our side our component does not fire or trigger any content plugins in the code. So I suggest you post your query to the Phoca Gallery forum to see if they can help resolve this issue as they built that the Phoco Gallery component and they should have more of an idea what is going on."

Looking forward to your reply
Thanks
Chris

I have temporarily fixed it by uninstalling the plugin.

Cheers

I have the same problem exactly, I get error message "Fatal error: Class 'JSite' not found in C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla17\plugins\content\phocagalleryslideshow\phocagalleryslideshow.php on line 41" when I load JCKEditor Manager and the documents I have already created do not show when I try to edit them.
I am running Joomla! 1.7.0 Stable [ Ember ] 19-Jul-2011 14:00 GMT, PHP 5.3.1
Phoca Gallery component v3.0.1
Phoca Gallery Slideshow v3.0.3

JCK editor 3.4.7
JCK Plugin Manager Component com_j17jckman

Please help

Arrick

Not really a reply; I uninstalled all Phoca and all JCK Editor plugins and components. I reinstalled the Phoca gallery and slideshow, then the JCK editor and all was fine. Then I installed the JCK manager and got the error referred to above.

I am going to have to survive without some of the JCK editor features, because I cannot do without the Phoca Slideshow!

Please help
Arrick

I just got over this error by disabling the phocagallery plugin in the editor. And it worked!
