Problem with installation (can't find installation package)

Hi...I had a previous problem with Phoca Gallery component. Before this installation problem.
The admin user was unable to upload more images...I tried personally and neither I could...My first approach to the problem was: install an upgrade, so I try to do that...I had an older version and tried to install the new 2.7.8 component version...But the installation failed.
Every time I try, I got some message like "Impossible to find the installation package"...And above this message appears the following: "Warning: error in moving the file"...I don't know what file is the system talking about.
I try even the FTP installation procedure...And with the same result.
I deleted manually all of the folders and files of the component...I think...And after that tried to run the install (thru Joomla, of course). But is not working...
What do I have to do?...What are your suggestions for this issue?

try to check all the permissions or ownership on the server ???
