Re: Javauploader Message

Hi,
I have the same problem like for example hanga. The error message is also "wjhk.jupload2.exception.JUploadException; unexpected EOF (in header)" after the first file transfer.
I tried it on three different computers. One workstation (Vista SP2, Java 6.17), where the JavaUpload is working fine, and two notebooks (One is XP SP3, the other Win7 - both with Java 6.17) where I face the above mentioned error message.
Googleling for a while brought me to the Coppermine forum. The Coppermine users also face(d) the same problem. See http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/ind ... .msg310515
Some said that the problem is supposed to be the firewall or virus scan. First I couldn't believe it but i gave it a try and disabled the virus scanner (Trend Micro Office Scan 10) on the notebooks and to my supprise that did the trick (on the workstation I have another virus scanner installed - both notebooks have TrendMicro in common).
So one of the three developers of JUpload (his nick is etienne_sf) updated the plugin for the Coppermine users. Please see: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/ind ... ic=62526.0
"===== Version 4.0.0rc3 =====
Fixes:
* [Major] No more EOF error, when using a personal antivirus or firewall. "
The main source code was also updated a few days ago (http://sourceforge.net/projects/jupload/files/)
The bugfix that etienne_sf solved for the Coppermine users should also be fixed in the main version.
Now it is 4.6.0 and as far as I can see we have 4.3.3 with latest phoca gallery 2.5.8
Therefore I would kindly ask you Jan to update the JUpload plugin also for us phoca gallery users hoping that also our problems with EOF will be solved.
