Hi anis,

try this please: Point 6 of: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... gle-photos
The best method to get user name and user album name is to see the album in Picasa and copy both IDs (user name and album) directly from URL (even it is Google+ or Google Photos album): see image there.
KInd regards, Christine

there is no way to import a photo album with the new Google
Better said: maybe there is no way to import newly created photo album with Google Photos
and correct said: There is possible to import only public albums but there is no way on Google Photos to make new album public.

So in fact you can import, this is not a problem, but you cannot make the album public as there is no way on Google Photos to do it :-(

So there must be found a way to make the album public. When such will be found, it can be imported.

Joomla extensions like Phoca Gallery and Ozio Gallery do have the same problems ince Google has changed their photo system.
Via a Google Discussion I have found a solution for this time (it will work till Google is changing their sytem again :? )

For now, you can upload your image to Google Photos.
Put them in an album there.
Yes the album is not public at that moment.
But now you can use this tool of Sven Bluege: http://www.svenbluege.de/picasa/v1.1/#

Login nwith your Google account.
You see the latest album in the sec ond line from te top.
Click on "Make public" and that's all.

Now you can use Phoca Gallery as always.
Put your Google user account in the first field.
You can copu the album ID from the Sven Bluege tool and paste it in teh second field.
Import your Picasa images now and YES, you have a new album in Phoca Gallery. :D

Hi,
Tell me please, this service will always be available or a temporary solution?
Seems, this is done per Google Apps which is a commercial part of Google services but nobody can say now:

- if Google will support it
- if the developer of the Apps will support it

This is really hard to say.
