Thumbnails of "higher category" and some folders don't show

I tried 3 other themes now, in 1 there are the same errors with the dead foldername-pictures, in two standard-joomla themes that came with joomla the whole menu that contains the "Gallerie" thing doesn't even show up ... strange ... i think it is the standard-menu ... my theme can have a menu on top AND on the side .. maybe the menu is causing all the problems?

I didnt find much stuff in the file you told me about, but maybe i had the wrong one, i looked up the one in the joomla main folder ... not in the theme folder ....
