I was wondering if you had had any success with combining VM and Phoca?
I have been trying to sort out a photography website shop for some months now and still have found no suitable solution with the excellent functionality of Phoca and the buying power of VM...
I am totally at a loss. As you say, it seems almost impossible to set up a Gallery shop in Joomla. Bizarre!

I hope anyone else who sees this has a solution... Heeeeeeeeeelp...

Hi, you can add a link below the thumbnail which will link to VM product...

I have some plans how to build the plugin into VM, so e.g. on detail page of VM product a gallery of products will be displayed. But I still wait until VM will have Plugin behaviour.

Has any progress been made on this front? I'm a wedding photographer and I'm currently using Gallery 2, but I'd much prefer to keep my clients within a Joomla environment... and frankly, Phoca is a nicer looking gallery system than Gallery2. But without eCommerce, I can't make the switch.
