I'm trying to use the Modal Popup to view my images, however no matter what I do I can't adjust the size of the Modal Window and iFrame.
Everyone here keeps saying just to change the "Detail Window Width" and "Detail Window Height" fields in System preferences, under the Thumbnail tab. When I do this, nothing changes. Every window, including the desired Modal window appear at 460px x 360px.... to make it more confusing this isn't even the default settings specified by PhocaGallery.
Any ideas why this is happening?
cheers

Re: Modal Window Size
Not sure if it helps, but I have been clearing cache and testing this problem with the default Joomla templates. Same problem occurs.

Re: Modal Window Size
Hi, the windows size is made by thumbnail sizes (large thumbnails) - if you resize the thumbnails and then you will recreate the thumbnails, detail window will be different (larger or smaller - depends on which size you will set)

Re: Modal Window Size
I am have this exact problem. I have searched this forum high and low and found several threads about this issue, but none that really solve it.
I have 3 sites running Joomla 2.5 and phoca 3.26. Each with a different template, and two of the three experience this issue. All iframe methods (modal, standard pop-up, boxplus, exc) are locked at 480x360 despite what I have entered into the detail view parameters. When I use my browsers 'inspect elements' tool on the front end, I see clearly that the iframe window is coded to that exact size for reasons unknown. If have tried all the suggestions I've read from other threads. I have disabled SEF. No change. I have tested it with ALL the default templates (Beez5, beez20, exc) No change either. I have Multibox settings disabled.
This is my settings:
Large Image Width -800
Large Image Height -800
Medium Image Width -250
Medium Image Height-250
Small Image Width -150
Small Image Height -150
Detail Window Width -820
Detail Window Height -820
And here is the code as it is displayed to the front end with Modal enabled of one of the thumbnail boxes.
So why on earth is it sizing the windows to 480 x 360?
Thanks!

Re: Modal Window Size
Hi, which version of Phoca Gallery you are using. There are other parameter settings in some of the previous Joomla! versions, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla
Check if this is not the case, why you get other settings values.

Re: Modal Window Size
Within phoca's options I've had cache disabled from the start. I've cleared Joomla's cache, and cleared the cache from my cpanel. The problem persists.
Where does phoca store its options data? I didn't see a database row for it...could it somehow have a double entry somehow? I'm grasping at ideas at this point..

Re: Modal Window Size
Hi, Phoca does not have store the options. Options are managed by Joomla!. Joomla! com_config component manages it and stores it in its tables. In fact all this happens outside the component - component only gets the information about it.

Re: Modal Window Size
What would the default table be in joomla 2.5 in which this info would be stored?
