I have a Joomla 1.5 installed on a website - which has got Legacy 1.0 enabled. I still find confusing to understand what it does, how it got there!
Anyway I am unable to install the Phoca Gallery - either auto or ftp manual. I have done the manual ftp component without problem, however I am unable to auto install the ftp zip in order to complete the install.
I have also manually ftp'd the files within the ftp zip in the same location which I have done on another separate site (where I did not have any problems.
Error:
It was not possible to copy the selected file.
JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file: /home/detector/public_html/cmsdetector/tmp/com_phocagallery_ftp_install/install.phocagallery.php to /home/detector/public_html/cmsdetector/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/install.phocagallery.php
Component Install: Could not copy PHP install file.
I have spoken to the server (well the man!) and he has checked the ownership of Joomla - and that is correct.
I'm now back to wondering if the problem is due to Legacy 1.0??
I am keen to use this gallery as I have done on other sites as it is perfect for my needs.
My fingers are crossed for a positive outcome!
Thanks
Robyn
