show only 1st level of subcategories

Hi all,
i'm using 2.6.2 ver of Phoca gallery, it's a great job .
I've a little problem: can i show only the 1st level of subcategories in categories view or category view?

This is my actual structure:

Main category
|
|---- subcategory1
| |---- subcategory1-1
| | |---- some photos
| |---- subcategory1-2
| |---- some photos
|---- subcategory2
| |---- subcategory2-1
|---- subcategory3

I created a "categories list layout" menu to point at "main category". When i go to this menu, it show all subcategories (subcategory1, subcategory1-1, subcategory1-2 ecc....).
Is there a way to show only the first level (subcategory1, subcategory2, subcategory3)?

Hi,
you can hide the category or subcategory which you don`t want to display.
In Phoca Gallery Parameters --> Global Configuration --> Categories View Settings (List of Categories) --> Hide Categories (by ID)

It's a good system but when the user create another category, i have to manually hide from phoca admin. Is there a way to automatically hide categories beyond the first level?

as far as I know, there is no way to automatically hide categories beyond the first level.
But you can make a feature request to Jan Pavelca the developer of all this Phoca extensions.
