Front End Gallery Submission

Post by soloman83 »

Installed PG a few days ago and I'm ecstatic at the versatility, I've set up a few existing galleries that I want registered users to have the ability to pitch their pictures to. I see that once I log in to the front there's the single-file uploader at the bottom of the gallery but upon trying to upload to a test image I get "User folder was not defined"..

I've gone through the steps @ https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ser-upload and the frontend uploader at least works but only for user-created galleries.. not for the root galleries I want them to upload into.

** I also noticed that the tabs at the top are all greyed out, instead the contents of the tabs are stacked but all accessible and functional?

Ideally I want the upload form below the physical gallery to work so it's clearly visible which gallery it's uploading into.

Any help is fully appreciated.

Since I've only got the one user I need to give access to I've tricked the system by linking the main gallery menu to the user gallery, giving the user frontend access and I'll upload via the admin panel.

User can only upload via the user panel (which is probably better since they can use the multiple file upload), when I tried to upload via the form at the bottom of the physical gallery I get "Maximum size limit of all images reached. Image cannot be uploaded".. I'm trying to upload 100x100 test images that are 2k.

For the moment I've accomplished what I needed to do, but this is still definitely something I need to figure out.

Hi, for the frontend uploading, you can set limits, it means users can e.g. upload only xx MB of images, etc, see parameters component for the limits:
