Hi everyone,
I installed the Phoca Gallery on our Joomla website and created my first album. However, when you enter an album, you can see the photos. When you click on an image, the thumbnail opens, whereas I actually want it to show the original photo directly.
How can I set this up?

Re: Open original photo's in gallery
Hi,
The detail view in Phoca Gallery is always the large thumbnail.
Kind regards,
Benno

joomla 6.1.3 phoca gallery 6.1.4
Hi,
maybe I am wrong here. if so just tell me.
displaying the large thumbnail in detail view? ok. Honestly, to get a thumbnail with the same size and quality as the original photo does not make sense to me, but I accepted this.
Unfortunately I am not very familiar with web design and web code and therefore I might be wrong. It looks to me that masonry layout in category view also uses the large thumbnail. This is slowing down the built up of category view with large number of pictures. On slower web days it takes sometimes more than 30 seconds until it shows the gallery.
The built up of the gallery has been always slow (about 3 to 5 seconds). I did not like opening one picture after the other, continously rearranging the pictures until the last picture has been opened. So the gallery is shown, when the last picture is opened, created by js and user.css (Done by Claude).
