Download entire Gallery

Hi,

it would be nice to have the option to download entire galleries, preferable as zip file.
I know that the creation of these files may cost too much cpu power, but one could at least provide a custom link to a already created zip file (then only costs space).

This was also posted in your feature request page, however nobody seems to read it since years?

Hi, there are two different features:

1) zip all the images to download it - as you wrote, yes this can be a problem for the server

2) add a link to ZIP file to download all the images - this is of course possible in Phoca Gallery, you have two URL, see e.g. here: https://www.phoca.cz/joomla-templates below images which you can use for download the whole gallery or category (you can link it to some external link, or internal link or e.g. to Phoca Download like it is set in this example)

Is there a way to put external links to whole categories which show up in the categories view?
I could only find this possibility for images, not categories.

Hi, what you exactly means, where you want to paste the link? Maybe you can add it to the description of the category

I would like to have a download button for a whole category (e.g. external downloadlink with a zip file) similar to the one for each picture in a category view, just in the categories view.

Hi, see similar posts in this forum, for now there is no such option, this feature is questionable because of possible memory/cpu/traffic/overloading problems when wrongly used.
