Hello Christine
Yes I'm using latest version 4.2.1 And follow the tutoriel. I think I use the correct credentials because phoca gallery found my Facebook album.
The Facebook album I want to share is public.
However, it doesn't work at all when I want to share photo from a Facebook Fan page I created from my Facebook account.. So final l'm wondering if I use the correct credentials or if the setting of the Facebook app are correct..
How should the Facebook app setting beaucoup setted ?
Thanks in advance for your advice
Ratibus

Updated code to work with API 2.5 in Phoca Gallery version 4.2.2 - this should solve the problem.

Re: Not load image from facebook
Hello!
I have joomla 2.5 and latest version of PG for this version of joomla. Have the same problem, after importing fb images only "image001" etc. name is being displayed. No photos. Is there any update for the 2.5 joomla version of PG?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Not load image from facebook
Hi, it is recommended to update your Joomla! to latest version 3.5 or 3.6 and install Phoca Gallery 4.3. Only new versions reflect continuously changes made in external libraries.
In Joomla! 2.5 there is no problem to run the Facebook images, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/joomlademo/category/6-facebook
but this is run on some old FB application. So if you create new application, you should use new version of Joomla! and Phoca Gallery. Unfortunately it is not possible to integrate newest FB applications to obsolete versions of Joomla! or Phoca Gallery.

Re: Not load image from facebook
Well, sad to read what is going on with this planet. Marketing and money wins against common sense. Of course I am not going to spend days upgrading something that does not need any update whatsoever and works perfectly. Maybe there is somebody here who has similar problems and has better knowledge than me and will find a solution (as far as I know the problem concerns the line 118 of the fb.php file). If there is someone there, will appreciate the help. Otherwise I will either find a solution or simply live without the fb pictures. I will survive

Re: Not load image from facebook
Hi, yes, unfortunately, I am the last one, who always wants to change things. But by external services, this is really hard as the changes are very often made and for example for me, it means large slowdown with development - to overwrite existing functions for new API
I can see it on my documentation website, I change the documentation for external services very often and it happens that when I change it, it is changed again in some days

Re: Not load image from facebook
So maybe when a new change of "external service" arrives, simply let us ignore it and stop using it. The service provider will think it over when he sees the decrease of interest.
I know it is difficult, been admin myself for years and this is the reason I left this vicious circle.
If anybody finds a solution to my problem, would appreciate any info.
