Images won't display using Phoca Gallery Plugin Button

Hello,

I am using the Phoca Gallery (v4.2.2) fine with my website and can display my images fine. I have also installed the Phoca Gallery Plugin Button so I can insert some images within my articles in Joomla (v3.4.

I am trying to just insert 4 images following the documentation. I see my after clicking 'insert code' that my code is infact inserted at the bottom of my page however the images wont load. I only see the actual code on my webpage:

{phocagallery view=category|categoryid=2|limitstart=1|limitcount=4}

I am baffled as to what is causing this. I have searched the forum and followed some other threads having similar issues but no change

Any suggestions appreciated

Hi,
you also need to install and enable the Phoca Gallery Plugin.

Is there a chance to get the documentation updated to mention you need 3 plugins in total to have this function working.
I only had the:
- Phocagallery plugin
- Phocagallery button plugin

I wasnt aware I needed the phocagallery content plugin also

No, you need Phoca Gallery Component and the two Plugins.
