Hi,
I want to upgrade to version 1.1.3 from previous version, how can I do this process without losing my actual information, several categories and more than 200 pictures.
Is just necessary to keep the image folders?? or also any other configuration file?
Thanks in advance
How to upgrade version without losing photo information??

Hi, If you uninstall
Hi, If you uninstall the previous version and you install new version, you don't lose images on the disc (server), but you lose data in the database, because the Phoca Gallery table will be removed and new installed.
Now I am working on new version, where you can select by the installation if you want to delete the old table ... But there is no enough documentation for installation scripts, it will be not so easy... I hope, I find the solution soon...

Anyway is there any info of all the files used during installation to overwrite it manually, can be this a solution to upgrading?

Yes, you can upload
Yes, you can upload the new files via FTP:
in ZIP package, there is a folder called 'front'. All files and folders from this folder you should copy to:
joomla/components/com_phocagallery
Other files outside the 'front' folder you should copy to:
joomla/administrator/components/com_phocagallery
Don't forget to changes URL links in Menu link
