Where to start???

Alright i just downloaded Phoca PDF component and also phoca plugin content. And i just went straight into header and wrote down The website name, No picture nothing else. But nothing show up in the pdf. I am a newbie to Joomla and also to phoca but i am missing something?

Hi, did you enabled the Phoca PDF Content plugin in Plugin manager? Does your site run under php5?

Oh yeah forgot to mention that yeah i did. and here are my information on my server, if that would help

Server version: 5.0.32-Debian_7etch6-log
MySQL client version: 5.0.32
Used PHP extensions: mysqli
PHP Version 5.2.0-8+etch13

I don't see there any PDF icon :-(

Yeah i deactivated icon on the front page. but if u click on the article when your prompt to it you should be able to see the icon pdf.


Unless..... Phoca PDF only work for icon in the front page...

Phoca PDF is not enabled on your site

there is format=pdf but if Phoca PDF is enabled you should get format=phocapdf

Did you install the component and the plugin and did you enable (publish) the plugin in Plugin Manager?

Alright my bad for some reason it wasnt!!!! However i did enable my plugin phocapdf content but still hasnt done any change yet!! I dont know what would be my next option.

Now here the link for one that has no javascript erreur cause my first article has " ' " in them so their kinda having javascript problem and the second one has a bmp image problem that i know but the last one is alright

I had to change myself the link to make it format=phocapdf and it still doesnt work and but i did activate it, did i miss any other step??? or could i change myself inside the joomla coding the link so it would work or something?? Thank for the reply




Update:: Alright i just put that link into firefox it work!! However i still have to manually do it to be able to see the change seem and also in FF it open a windows but also change my page to pdf form. Unwanted. And the link doesnt work at all in IE7... Well that my update it cheers me up a bit better but i still need help to figurate it out.

I was wondering is their a way i could manually change the core to put the link to pdf since it doesnt seem to do it it self.
